Story Codes

Years ago, when stories were first being posted at the now inactive BDSM Library, authors were required to select codes for each of their stories, to better alert readers to the type of content to expect. This was considered a courtesy and our Library of Short Stories attempts to follow suit, adopting the same coding as the BDSM Library, albeit with a few additions.

Gender Codes

  •     M/f: One male dominating one female

  •     M/f+: One male dominating more than one female

  •     M+/f: More than one male dominating one female

  •     M+/f+: More than one male dominating more than one female

  •     F/f: One female dominating one female

  •     F/f+: One female dominating more than one female

  •     F+/f: More than one female dominating one female

  •     F+/f+: More than one female dominating more than one female

  •     M/m: One male dominating one male (gay)

  •     M/m+: One male dominating more than one male (gay)

  •     M+/m: More than one male dominating one male (gay)

  •     M+/m+: More than one male dominating more than one male (gay)

  •     F/m: One female dominating one male

  •     F/m+: One female dominating more than one male

  •     F+/m: More than one female dominating one male

  •     F+/m+: More than one female dominating more than one male

  •     m-self: Male self-bondage or other activities done by himself

  •     f-self: Female self-bondage or other activities done by herself

  •     MF/f: Male(s) and female(s) dominating female(s)

  •     M/mf: Male(s) dominating male(s) and female(s).

  •     bestiality: Bestiality. Sex with an animal.

  •     cbt: Cock & ball torture

  •     WaterSport: Water Sports (golden showers, that is: people who like getting pissed on).

Fetish

  •     D/s: Domination/submission

  •     B/D: Bondage and Discipline

  •     S/M: Sado-Masochism (inflicting pain)

  •     BDSM: Domination/submission, Bondage and Discipline, Sado-Masochism.

  •     feet: Foot or shoe fetish - feet worship / torture

  •     hair: Hair fetish

  •     latex: Latex fetish

  •     slavery: Kept as or trained to be a slave

  •     lingerie: Fetish to lingerie.

  •     bondage: Bondage and restriction

  •     chastity belt: Fetish to chastity belt and sex denial

Theme Setting

  •     bible: Bible. Has a religious theme

  •     college: College-theme

  •     gothic: Gothic (dark) setting

  •     historical: Has a historical theme

  •     HighSchool: High School-theme

  •     job: Place-of-work theme

  •     real: Supposedly true

  •     ScFi: Science fiction setting

  •     slow: Where the sex does not occur in the first part of multipart story

  •     spoof: Spin-off / parody of comic / movie / TV-show etc.

  •     fantasy: Things that do not fit in ScFi

Level of Consent

  •     romantic: Romantic

  •     consensual: Consensual Sexual Activity

  •     reluctant: Reluctant (First no, no, but later yes,yess,yesss!!)

  •     mc: Mind control

  •     humiliation: Humiliation

  •     blackmail: Blackmail

  •     torture: Torture. Severe non-consentual spilling of blood-n-guts

  •     nc: Non-consensual Sexual Activity

Content Setting

  •     Extreme: Extreme cruelty, killing, maiming, bloody scenes. Definitely not for the faint hearts.

  •     Heavy: Heavy BDSM contents, real torture.

  •     Serious: Serious BDSM actions and maybe with passion and love

  •     Light: Light bondage, spanking, etc. Just playing and having fun

  •     Hardcore: Plain adult sex story with no or little bdsm content

  •     Rated R: No hardcore sex description involved in the story.

  •     violent: Violent, not always sm

  • fictional: the story is entirely a fabrication
